My TS Find!

I've never been a big thrift store shopper, but reading all of your great finds has inspired me. I stopped at one last week and was in and out in less than 5 minutes-not only was there nothing AG, there was nothing I would even want in my house. I was out running errands this morning and passed by a GW and decided to try again. I saw one doll leg sticking out of a pile with AG sized shoes and my heart beat a little faster, but it was just one of the Target fake AGs. Again, in and out in 5 minutes.

Then on my way home I passed a St. Vincent de Paul and thought "why not" and pulled in. I hit the toys first and they had nothing. I then checked out by the glass cases in the front because that's where Terri's husband found Addy, and on the floor by the case was a brand new Kit's trunk for $40.00! It even still had the protective foam between the drawers and the fold down part. It's perfect! Then I found out the store wouldn't take checks or a credit card and I didn't have enough cash with me. I asked the lady at the check out to put it behind the counter and I would run to my bank to cash a check and be back in 15 minutes. She just set it on the counter next to her and the whole drive to and from my bank I'm thinkg if she lets someone else by my trunk I'm going to be so mad, but good thing for her, it was still there. I'm just so impressed with myself, and now I can't wait to go out ts shopping again. I think you may have created a monster. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

WOW what a DEAL!

That happen to me last week a at GW. I saw blond hair and what I thought was a AG doll in a bin... I could feel my heart beating in my ears....

It was a knock-off...

I never made it too my Tuesday run to GW... I ended up going out to eat GRITS with a friend...NOW you make me wish I had gone..LOL
